The mural project at the British School in Warsaw depicts Fryderyk Chopin, Maria Skłodowska-Curie and Nicolaus Copernicus in a modern, graphic style. Each figure has a symbolic background: Chopin – musical notes and dynamic colour contrasts, Curie – chemical elements and the colours of science, Copernicus – cosmic and heliocentric motifs. The portraits are placed in circles reminiscent of medallions.
The mural combines aesthetics with an educational function, inspiring students to learn about Polish science and culture. Located in the stairwell, it is a central, motivating feature of the school, enriching its interior with historical and artistic value.
